Whitworth was the passenger in a car driven by her boyfriend, in a police chase that spanned three counties and ended with her boyfriend losing control of the other after running over spike strips. Several days after the crash Whitworth died. Authorities had discovered $2,000 worth of meth on her, concealed in a body cavity.
