About 7 p.m., Johnson City police were responding to a domestic-related call that involved an intoxicated and armed man, Kevin Lee Catlett. Police first encountered him on the street holding a gun. Catlett did not follow orders to disarm and pointed the gun at police. Two officers shot and killed Catlett.
