Kenneth French, a mentally disabled man, allegedly got in an argument with an off-duty LAPD officer, Salvador Sanchez, in a samples line. French allegedly knocked out the officer, who woke up and allegedly shot and killed French, and shot and seriously wounded French's parents, Russell and Paola French.
