Officers Kenneth Pilette and Chad Betts responded to a crash. Police said Busse left the scene briefly to hide something in a nearby bush before officers arrived. Police asked the man to complete a field sobriety test, but he allegedly ran to the bush and grabbed a gun. The man fired a round at police, and the officers shot and killed him.
