Suicide
Police were looking for a suspect in a shooting investigation that left one person dead and another injured. Deputies saw the other on Highway 441 near Workmore. The deputy tried to stop the other and then pursued it. During the chase, two children that were inside the other were dropped off at a family member's home in McRae-Helena. A trooper ended the chase by conducting a PIT maneuver on the other near Highway 341 around 7:15 p.m. Keith Wilcox reportedly got out of the other with a handgun and shot himself.
