Keith "Tito" MacNeice Jr. was killed when he crashed his car during a police-chase that began with a stop sign violation. MacNeice's mother's lawsuit dragged on for six years before the city admitted that videos it had long denied existed had been erased or recorded over. In November 2015, MacNeice's mother won a $2.75 million verdict against the city from a Cook County jury.
