Deputies responded around 2:54 p.m. for a welfare check following a 911 open line call. When deputies arrived, they found a domestic dispute developing between a woman and Kason Crutchfield. The woman was able to safely leave the residence, and a gunshot was reportedly heard from inside. Crutchfield fled the residence out of a back door. He was found dead later, of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
