Someone called police dispatchers around 10 p.m. to tell them a man with a gun was trying to rob the CVS Pharmacy, and that employees had locked themselves in the back of the store. Police tried to negotiate with the man but were unsuccessful. When police went in the store, they found Karreim Houser dead, presumably by suicide.
