The shooting happened after an undocumented immigrant from Chiapas state took an agent's pistol during a hand-to-hand struggle, Nogales Police Chief Jose Luis Alday said. "I don't know if he had his gun drawn or during the scuffle his gun popped out of the holster," Alday said. A second agent approached, saw the Mexican man with the first agent's gun and shot him several times, killing him.
