Police found Juan Daniel Jacques shot to death when officers responded to a call of an aggravated assault in progress, police said. Off-duty Border Patrol Agent Luis Chavez allegedly shot and killed Jacques when Jacques allegedly attacked Chavez with a blunt metal object. The two men reportedly had been friends since childhood. Note: Juan Daniel's last name is spelled Jaquez on posts by relatives on social media.
