Deadly force

Police were called to investigate a report of a subject trespassing in a local business complex and making threats. When the first officer arrived on scene, he asked Jourdan Akili Wagner to step outside. Once outside, Wagner fled on foot from the officer. Eventually, officers located Wagner under a trampoline in the backyard of a home. Wagner was armed with a stolen handgun and wounded an officer and killed a police dog before officers shot and killed Wagner.
