Northport police officers responded to a traffic wreck with injuries. While en route, they were told that one of the drivers had walked away. Police encountered the driver, Joshua Crawford, about a mile away from the accident scene. After a struggle, Crawford was tasered by a Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputy and died the following day.
