One person was killed along I-25 in a two-car crash south of Fountain. A Colorado State Trooper stopped to investigate and later discovered the victim, Joshua D. Newell, underneath his cruiser. An autopsy reported that Newell was killed in the two-car accident, not by the trooper, who allegedly drove over a dead body.
