Officers noticed Joseph Sin leaning into the window of a car in the parking lot of an Econolodge. After officers approached the suspect to see if the car was his, he ran away, police said. After police chased Sin, a struggle began. One officer was shot in the leg during the shooting and was treated and released. Sin was shot and killed.
