Deadly force
A police officer stopped a other for a traffic infraction in the 2700 block of Plaza Avenue. The driver was not obeying the officer's commands. Additional officers were called to assist. When backup arrived on the scene, the other accelerated and a pursuit ensued for several minutes. The other eventually stopped in the 2300 block of Timber Drive, where the driver got out of the car and verbal commands from the officer were not obeyed. And he was shot and killed.
