Disturbed veteran Terry threatened his own family with two knives, then walked off through his neighborhood. Local police followed and tried to calm him through the PA system. At one point, reportedly, he said "Just shoot me" repeatedly, twirling the knives. Terry then attacked a gardener, seemingly at random, causing officers to fatally shoot him.
