At 10:09 a.m. Joseph Dawson's wife called 911 to report her husband was threatening her and other family members. When deputies encountered Dawson at his residence, he drew a gun, and one deputy took him down to the ground, and a struggle began. Dawson got off several shots, and another deputy shot and killed Dawson.
