Deadly force

Responding to a report that Gonzalez had stabbed his parents and grandmother, Senior Cpl. Kevin Gladden found him outside his home with two knives. When he was told to drop the knives and didn't, Gladden shot him. Gonzalez tried to get up and was tasered. He died on the way to the hospital.
