Port Hueneme Police Officer attempted to make a traffic stop of a possible stolen other in southern Oxnard. The other was occupied by a lone male occupant. The suspect stopped the other in the 900 block of Redwood Street in Oxnard. The suspect rapidly accelerated his other in the officer's direction and an officer-involved shooting took place. The suspect was struck by police gunfire
