Deadly force

An officer saw Guerra walking partially in the street, apparently intoxicated. The officer activated his emergency lights and approached the man, whose behavior was erratic. After putting his hands on the other so the officer could pat him down for weapons, Guerra became violent. Guerra attacked the sergeant and tried to shove him into oncoming traffic.The officer then shot Guerra multiple times before summoning EMS.
