According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the teen led a trooper on a high-speed chase on I-75 in excess of 130 miles per hour. Just after the officer turned his lights on, Day crashed his 1998 Lexus GS 400 into a concrete wall at more than 100 miles per hour just south of the Monroe rest stop, flipping the other and striking a tractor trailer truck on the right berm before his other burst into flames.
