Wheatland police attempted to pull over a drunken driving suspect around 2:30 a.m., but the man would not stop. He was stopped with spike strips as he entered Marysville. Police from several agencies approached the other and ordered the man to surrender, but he refused. They sicced a dog on him, but he fired at the dog, and police shot and killed him.
