Someone called police to complain that a man, Jonathan Bentley, was driving through a parking lot. When police approached the other, Bentley took off, and police pursued him for 16 miles. The chase entered the scene of a previous car accident from hours earlier, and Bentley's speeding other possed a mortal threat to the first responders on the scene of the earlier accident. State troopers shot and killed Bentley.
