Marszalek was chased by police for 20 minutes as a suspected drunk driver, for a string of dangerous and irresponsible violations. When cornered he rammed into a police other and began stabbing at his own neck. Apparently without a weapon, Marszalek was shot and killed by a deputy U.S. marshal.
