Deadly force
Officers responded to a call of a fight at the Texaco station around 10 p.m. It was reported one person involved in the fight may be armed with a gun. Upon the officers' arrival, John Reuben Turbe Jr. ran away. One officer who began pursuing reportedly noticed Turbe had a gun. Turbe allegedly turned and pointed the gun at the officer. The officer shot and killed him.
