At Rest

Deadly force
Deputies responded to a home after a 911 call came in for a domestic disturbance. Deputy Jake Guathier and Deputy Jonathan Segrete responded. At the scene, the deputies saw Zemola ramming a car and their house, knocking a front pillar down, with his pickup truck. Deputies said that when they approached Zemora, he put the truck in reverse and pulled onto 64th Street where his other became disabled. He then got out of the truck with a knife in his hand and after deputies told him several times to drop the knife, they shot and killed him.
This record exists so that John F. Zemola, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
