Police received a call that a white male in a white other was drunk and pointed a gun in the direction of the caller. Officers arrived on scene to investigate, and saw the described other in the back alley. They approached the other and that is when Jimmie Patton, 38, got out and pointed the gun at one of the officers. Officer Alex Mottinger fired multiple shots, killing Patton.
