Appleton Police answered a call about shots being fired inside Jack's Apple Pub around 1 a.m.. When officers arrived, people were leaving the building. Lt. Jay Steinke encountered a person with a gun and shot Jimmie Montel Sanders, a bystander, during an exchange of gunfire.
