According to police, a woman reported that her car was stolen by two men she'd picked up at a gas station after they had an argument with her. State troopers saw a other matching the description and attempted to pull it over. The driver, Jermaine Morris, reportedly stopped, then drove off as troopers walked up to the car. Police gave chase at high speeds in Genesee Township and Flint until Morris lost control of the car at an intersection and struck a pole. Morris died four days later from his injuries. Morris' passenger survived with minor injuries, police said.
