Police responded to a 911 call from the homeowner that her live-in boyfriend, Jeremy Rucinski, had threatened her with a switchblade. She also stated that Rucinski had been agitated for days and was on medication. Arriving on the scene the two deputies found the suspect in the garage where he allegedly threatened them. One deputy tasered the suspect, when it did not stop him, the other deputy shot him once in the chest.
