Colorado State University Police officers responded to a report of a threatening man. Fort Collins Police Services officers arrived to assist. When officers contacted the man, police said they found him armed with a knife and Fort Collins police officer Erin Mast and Colorado State University police Cpl. Phil Morris shot and killed him as he advanced upon them.
