Deadly force

A deputy shot Chatham after he lunged at him with a knife, police said. Chatham had allegedly been following a woman who had a protective order filed against him and drove away when the deputy approached him, according to authorities. The deputy followed Chatham to an apartment complex where he was shot, police said.
