Jeffrey W. Williams reportedly died after struggling with state troopers on I-44. At approximately 6:30 p.m., two troopers attempted to arrest Williams at the Little Piney Bridge for a Strafford Police Department traffic warrant. Williams allegedly became violent and resisted arrest. The troopers pepper sprayed Williams and another motorist assisted the officers in subduing Williams. Williams quit breathing and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
