Deadly force
As part of a felony weapons investigation, police stopped the car that Clausen and two others were riding in. According to police, Clausen got out of the car and repeatedly failed to follow officers' commands. Court documents say Clausen was unarmed, but 'pointed a dark object' at officers before he was shot. It later turned out to be the scope from a rifle. The rifle was in the trunk of his car.
