Suicide
Jeffrey L. Lenington reportedly committed suicide after being stopped by police outside Washington Accelerated Elementary School. According to police, officers were investigating an armed holdup of a Bank of America branch and stopped Lenington at about 4:10 p.m. because his truck matched the robber's other. Lenington then reportedly shot himself in the head.
