Deadly force

Police were responding to a mental health/unknown trouble call. On the scene, police encountered an armed individual at the residence with a small child. Police said the individual when in and out of his house multiple times, refusing to comply with orders from police. Police said the man then left the house holding the small child and brandishing a knife and a firearm. He released the child, but then "moved aggressively toward the officer and small child while brandishing the weapons." He was shot and killed.
