39-year-old filmmaker, assistant director, and native of Hamedan, shot dead by Islamic Republic security forces on the streets of Tehran. Mr. Ganji was a respected behind-the-scenes professional in cinema and television, well known among directing and production teams with years of experience working on numerous films and TV projects.
