A joint-police stolen car sting attempted to apprehend Carulla in a stolen car. When a Sergeant pulled his unmarked car behind Carulla, police say he repeatedly rammed the police car.Two officers fired, shooting Carulla five times. Police alleged Carulla was using car as a weapon.
