Port Authority police sergeant Rocco Cuccio pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the death of his wife, Janyce L. Cuccio. Rocco Cuccio, 47, originally was charged with second-degree murder, but psychiatrists for both sides agreed that he was under extreme emotional distress when he killed his wife of 25 years with his bare hands.
