Jamillia "Mila" Bufkin died after hitting another car while being chased by a state trooper. The pursuit began at about 4:40 p.m. in Winnebago County when the trooper saw Blufkin driving a van that had been reported stolen in Rockford. According to police, the trooper activated his lights, but Bufkin didn't pull over. Bufkin crashed into a guardrail before colliding with an eastbound Lexus about 10 minutes later.
