Less-than-lethal force

Deputies were called to the Coastal Plains MHMR clinic. Deputies discovered that the man had recently been committed to a mental health facility and was resisting attempts to be transported by EMS. He was eventually restrained and placed in a patrol unit to wait for a transport crew. He became unresponsive in the patrol car and died.
