James W. Gross allegedly broke into his estranged wife's home, where she, her boyfriend and their dog were hiding in the bedroom. When he broke the bedroom door, police entered the house, stunned Gross with a Taser and then shot and killed him. He reportedly had a knife to the woman's throat.
