Deputies were called to a home around 10 p.m. in response to a domestic disturbance. James Brian Kay allegedly had shot multiple people in the home with a shotgun. Kay came out of the house with a shotgun and fired in the direction of a patrol car, police said. Deputy James Justice shot and killed Kay.
