At Rest

Deadly force
Police were searching for Kenneth Wright Jr., who was wanted on two outstanding warrants for first-degree robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Two police spotted Wright in the passenger seat of a car, got out of their patrol car and started to walk toward the car. Jacqueline Salyers, who was behind the wheel, drove in the direction of the officers, police said. She was shot and killed, Wright ran away. Tacoma Police Department's Deadly Force Review Board found Officer Scott Campbell justified. Police alleged vehicular assault.
This record exists so that Jacqueline D. Salyers, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
