Two officers were sent to a residence after 911 operators received a call of a family dispute. The officers entered the home and encountered Jacob E. Albreths in a bedroom closet brandishing a knife. One of the officers reportedly shocked him with a Taser, but it failed to stop him. Both officers opened fire, killing the boy.
