Jacob Vela was the suspect in a homicide that left his cousin, Benny Vela, dead. Police say an argument broke out between the two at around 3AM Sunday morning. When they got to the Benny Vela was dead and his cousin was on the run. Police found Vela in downtown Corpus Christi and followed him to San Patricio County where he crashed his car into a field and then shot himself in the head.
