Deputies were called to a home around 7:30 p.m. on a report of a domestic assault. After getting a warrant, deputies went back to the house around 9:30 p.m. Jacob Bender's wife told them that he was hiding in a basement crawl space. A deputy sicced a dog on him, and Bender stabbed the dog three times. He was allegedly tasered to no avail. He allegedly did not drop the knife, and deputies shot and killed him.
