An officer attempted to stop a other that was allegedly stolen around 10 a.m. As the officer approached, the woman driving the other, Jacklyn Mitchell, fled at a high rate of speed and police chased her along the highway. She allegedly ran a red light at Hampstead Boulevard causing a four-other accident. The woman was killed, and three others injured.
