Deadly force

Deputies responded to the scene of an accident involving a car and a bull, state police said. Officers were preparing to shoot the bull after the animal charged emergency responders and passing cars when Yantis, the bull's owner, confronted the deputies, according to authorities. Yantis shot at the deputies and the deputies returned fire, police said.
