Deadly force

Mayer was driving erratically. Deputies stopped her, one car behind her and one car in front of her. Mayer allegedly said "this is about to become a suicide by cop" then hit reverse, hitting one officer with her driver's side door and then smashing into the police car behind her. Another officer was standing beside that car and opened fire, killing Mayer. Police alleged vehicular assault.
